Modern Alloy Plating Co. Ltd was founded in 2005 by Thomas Shih. The factory officially started operating in November 2006. It is located in the Benjhou Industrial Park in Gangshan, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, with a total area of 8,625 square meters. It is one of the biggest automatic alloy plating factories in Taiwan. The company not only takes pride of its expertise on different types of surface treatment for nuts, bolts, screws, but also its growth and improvement.
In order to align with international standards, engineers from Atotech Germany took part in planning the layout and the design of the plant. The factory consists of plating lines, passivation lines, sealing lines, temper ovens, and solution recycling systems to sustain the environment. There is also a fully equipped laboratory with the following equipments: salt spray tester, UV spectrophotometer, atom absorption spectrometer, X-ray plating thickness tester, mini barrel plating machine, hull cell tester, potentiometric titrators, and kesternich test chamber. The company strives to improve its quality through research, development, investment and nonstop consultation from professionals in this field.
Our company has raised the standards for the surface treatment industry in Taiwan, since we were the first factory to introduce the ion exchanger to Taiwan. Essentially, the ion exchanger is an automatic recycling and quality control system for passivation solutions. This prevents contamination without compromising the quality of the solution. To differentiate our company even more, each of our treatment baths is paired up with its own rectifier. Modern Alloy Plating has been recognized nationally and internationally for its surface treatment for clients manufacturing automobile and/or construction fasteners as well as hardware as well as being a pioneer in this industry.
